July is Dog House Repairs Month   

In honor of dog house repairs month, we did a bit of research on how to help make your pet pooch feel more comfortable sleeping in their dog house. While some dogs are more likely than others to be drawn to a dog house, with a bit of patience and some cozy items, your furry friend will be curled up in the dog house in no time.

How to Make a Dog House Comfortable

1.  Add comfortable pillows and blankets (Find Them Here)

2.  Add familiar and favorite chew toys.

3.  If you live in an area with cold weather, insulating the dog house may be  advised, especially if your dog doesn't have a particularly heavy coat.

4.  If you have an indoor dog, you may not want to force your dog to sleep in the dog house right away. It may take time for Fido to feel cozy and safe sleeping outdoors. A good tip is to slowly move the dog’s bed further and further across the house until it is outside and ready to be placed in the dog house.

5.  Most importantly - Give Your Dog Positive Reinforcement
